School Uniforms

Reminder, P.S. 143 Is A Uniform School for ALL Students in K-5

All students must wear their P.S. 143 uniform each day to school, starting on the first day of school. If you need a new uniform for September, the PTA is selling them throughout August so your son or daughter is "back to school" ready! Uniforms may be purchased before school starts at our main building on August 12, August 13th, August 20th, and 23rd from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.   Purchases can be made on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am to 11:00am at the main building.  PA may also be contacted at 347-608-1904 or via email, pa143q@gmail.com. We are proud to be a uniform school and this will be enforced and encouraged throughout the entire school year. Friendly reminder: Bring completed Blue Cards and Media Consent Slips on the first day. Make sure immunizations are up to date! This is very important. Check out supply lists here: https://www.ps143q.org/apps/news/article/1061893

About P.S. 143Q

Welcome to our school! We believe that parent participation is key to student success; our new website is designed to provide parents with all the information they need to be active participants in their student’s education. You will find that the site works just as well on mobile devices as it does on a desktop so you can find information on the go.  If you have any feedback regarding our website, we would love to hear it!

P.S. 143Q is an elementary school serving upwards of 1,500 students in grades K-5.  Our student body is diverse with origins from all around the world.  Over half of the student body are English language learners and we are proud of our multilingual roots!  At P.S. 143, administrators, teachers and staff, combined with parents, and community partners, work together to support the needs of our bright, capable, and caring scholars.
